According to State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine: SJSC “Ukrvydavpoligraphiia” is making good progress, annualy increasing the incomes

Oleh Nalyvaiko, head of Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine, attended a meeting of the chiefs of corporate enterprises JSC “DAK “Ukrvydavpoligraphiia”, which was attended by all executives of companies and directors of 21 corporate enterprises and independent board members.

Oksana Sayenko, first deputy head of JSC “DAK “Ukrvydavpoligraphiia”, informed that in 2017 corporate enterprises of JSC “DAK “Ukrvydavpoligraphiia” earned an income of 265,9 million hrn. Nett income amounted to 956 000 hrn, more than double than in the past year. 16 enterprises of company made profits. Corporate enterprises paid taxes amounting to 31,2 million hrn. There is no back payments on salaries in the system.

Vasyl Prodan, head of JSC “DAK “Ukrvydavpoligraphiia”, informed that in accordance with changes in the law were adopted new version of the statute of corporate enterprises. Independent board members were chosen on a competitive basis.

Directors of corporate enterprises informed about the results of the work and about the problems of enterprises. The payment of land taxes , the amount of which set by local authority, is a serious problem.

Yevhen Nesterenko, head of PJSC “Kharkiv Book Factory “Hlobus”, reported that enterprise masters new types of printing products. The factory recently bought printing equipment amounting to 16,9 million hrn.

Oleh Nalyvaiko, head of Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine, noted a number of positive developments in work of many enterprises JSC “DAK “Ukrvydavpoligraphiia”.
He emphasized that one of the most important targets of enterprises is conservation of properties. Oleh Nalyvayko thanked the staff members of JSC for collection of books for Special Forces of Ukraine, military hospitals, settlers, children’s homes and educational institutions in Luhansk, Donetsk and other regions of Ukraine organized in cooperation with State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine. More than 33 000 books were donated as at May 2018.

Modification of State Standard of Ukraine

For changing the standards SSU 22.2-02477019-08:2013 “Printed, Stationery, Paper and Carton Products. General specifications”, which were created by PJSC “T. Shevchenko Ukrainian Scientific and Research Institute of Printing Industry”, corporate enterprise SJSC “Ukrvydavpoligraphiia” developed and launched 30.06.2017 Change № 1(order of PJSC “T. Shevchenko Ukrainian Scientific and Research Institute of Printing Industry” effective from 30.06.2017 № 2 ), in accordance with The State Classifier of Goods and Services (SC 016-2010) effective from 01.01.2012.

Identification of the standard SSU 22.2-02477019-08:2013 was changed to SSU 18.1–02477019–08:2017.

Researchers at the Ukrainian Research Institute of Special Printing Processes presented new kinds of inks

On 5 june 2018, Ukrainian Research Institute of Special Printing Processes (URISP), which is part of the SJSC “Ukrvydavpoligraphiia”, took part in annual exhibition of industrial products and scientific and technological developments “Made in Kyiv”.

This exhibition was held in International Exhibition Centre. Promotion of industrial products by manufacturers based in Kyiv, providing the opportunity for enterprises to advertise their products and attracting the attention of prospective investors are the main purposes of the exhibition.

About 300 capital enterprises and research organizations took part in exhibition and presented their products. There were presented manufacturing enterprises of printing, engineering, defence, food, consumer goods, pharmaceutical and other industries.

The Ukrainian Research Institute of Special Printing Processes presented at the exhibition inks for screen printing on various materials, a variety of products, which were printed with these inks, and their recent developments – plastisol inks for screen printing on textiles and oil colours for paintings.

During the exhibition the painter was painting the picture with.oil colours and every visitor of the exhibition had an opportunity to test this oil colours.The products, which were presented by URISP, attracted the interest of the visitors.

The Ukrainian Research Institute of Special Printing Processes was awarded with a diploma for the participation in the exhibition and high-level presentation of products.

The Pope was presented with a book about the history of the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church in Bukovina

Valerii Syrotiuk, vicar of the Dormition of the Mother of God Cathedral, presented Pope Francis with a book “Two Centuries of Service to God and Nation: UGCC (УГКЦ) in Bukovyna”, during the visit to the Vatican Residence in Rome.

The book was printed at the Kharkiv Book Factory “Hlobus”, which is corporate enterprise of SJSC “Ukrvydavpoligraphiia”, and saw the world at the Kharkiv publishing house “SYTSYIA” in 2016.

Nestor Myzak and Andrii Yaremchuk, the Historians of the Yurii Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, are authors of the monograph.

The book compiles and systemizes facts of life and organisation of the Greek Catholic community in Chernivtsi, facts and documents after visitations of Metropolitan Andriy Sheptytsky, pilgrimage in Rome. The book describes participation in spiritual and cultural life famous Bukovyna residents, in particular about writer Olha Kobylianska affiliation with Greek Catholic Church community in Chernivtsi.

The photographs on Greek Catholic community life and photocopies of documents are the most valuable. The high printing level of monograph performed is also worth noting.

The second part of the book about the history of the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church in Bukovina is currently being developed.

 

Eco-friendly books are printed at the Kharkiv Book Factory “Hlobus”

The Kharkiv Book Factory “Hlobus”, which is part of SJSC “Ukrvydavpoligraphiia”, manufactures about 80% of children’s printed products. There are schoolbooks, school stationery, fiction books, child educational books, that produced according to ecological standards using eco-friendly inks and paper.

This is thanks to successful recently modernization of the printery. The publishing house «Terra Incognita» was the first customer of eco-friendly book in April 2018. The book “The UnSimple” was published using eco-friendly paper by the Australian manufacturer «Pergraphica» and eco-friendly process color by the German manufacturer «Epple». The book was printed on sheetfed offset machine «Man Roland700», that specializes in printing high-quality printed products.

PJSC “Kharkiv Book Factory “Hlobus” has recently started to print eco-friendly tutorials, schoolbooks, workshops for primary school pupils in Donetsk region and stationery for kindergartens.

Books about animals, plants, water in Donetsk region, caring for nature and helping the environment will be printed according to ecological standards using eco-friendly inks only.
These eco-friendly inks are odorless and dilutable during the processing, and only pure cellulose are left.

Observance of ecological standards of the production printing process by factory increases competitive capacity of an enterprise and encourages European market entry.
